Across the rangelands of Kuku Group Ranch, energy use and forest health are deeply intertwined. For many households, firewood is still the main cooking fuel, a reality that drives deforestation, affects women and youth, and puts pressure on biodiversity. This toolkit was born from a shared vision to empower the community with knowledge, skills, and practical solutions that bring clean energy and conservation into everyday life. It includes training modules on solar use, improved stoves, woodlots, and land use planning, alongside activities and monitoring tools. It bridges planning with lived experience and turns knowledge into practice.
