Science Communication

Science communication not only involves sharing information, it about generating intellectual curiosity, fostering dialogue, and driving positive change. LEARN engages in science communication that transcends boundaries and reaches a wider audience.

At LEARN, we democratize access to scientific insights, making them accessible to urban actors of all backgrounds and geographies. This also involves sharing our methodologies to foster transparency and trust in the research process. Our approach is geared towards scaling up the conversation on urban issues by embracing diverse platforms and multimedia channels to disseminate knowledge far and wide.

We recognize the power of storytelling to bridge divides and unite people with different backgrounds. We create inclusive narratives that resonate with audiences from all walks of life by acknowledging oral histories and incorporating diverse voices, including those of nature and animals.

Moreover, we believe in the importance of collaborative translation, ensuring that our research outputs are accessible and actionable for policymakers and stakeholders.

To enhance engagement and understanding, we leverage visual and multisensory tools for interactive experiences that stimulate curiosity and spark meaningful conversations. And finally, we synthesize our findings into clear, concise messages that resonate with a wider audience, ensuring that our research has real-world impact and relevance.
